The LifestyleRx 4 +2 Better Health Programs website presents a Canadian program designed to help people with Type 2 diabetes regain control of their health through sustainable lifestyle changes. The program lasts 12 weeks, is 100% virtual, and is led by physicians, and dietitians allowing participants to receive personalized care without having to travel or wait in clinics. Moreover, it is fully covered by the healthcare system in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario.

During the program, participants attend weekly group medical sessions, receive individual guidance from a physician in their province, and access interactive educational materials through an app. The program promotes a gradual and sustainable approach—without calorie counting or extreme measures—that prioritize the consumption of whole, real foods. Users also complete weekly self-assessments to monitor their progress, with personalized reports that help them better understand their current health status and progress toward potential diabetes remission.
